Tickets on sale for the South Shore Polar Express
Popular Plymouth Rotary event will be held on December 8
Tickets on sale Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Tickets are now on sale for the popular South Shore Polar Express. This fun holiday event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Plymouth and will be held on Saturday, December 8.
Kids of all ages will enjoy a visit with Santa and a reading of the "Polar Express" by Chris Van Allsburg during one of four departures on that day: 11:45 a.m., 1:45 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
Rotarians will sell tickets at the Food Court in front of Macy’s at Independence Mall in Kingston on Friday, Oct. 26, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 28, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased at NorthEast Community Bank, 8 North Park Ave., Plymouth, or online at www.plymouthrotary.com.
Tickets are $20 each. A family five-pack is available for $75 and a 10-pack is available for $125.
The one-hour ride aboard a double-decker train departs the MBTA in Kingston, along the Old Colony Line to Halifax and back.
Kids are encouraged to wear pajamas over their clothes for the train ride. Elves will read the “Polar Express” and provide goodies for the younger riders. All children will receive a gift from Santa Claus while on board the train.
Proceeds from the South Shore Polar Express benefit local charities in Plymouth.
