Plymouth police arrests for Feb.3-5: Assault at Kohl's, two OUIs
Between February 3 and February 5 there were 36 ambulance calls, one fraud calls, eight motor vehicle accidents, 11 larcenies and burglaries, two assaults, one harassment complaint, seven disturbances and seven fire calls.

When shoplifting doesn’t work, try a knife.
That seems to have been the plan for Ryan O’Meara, 26, of Stafford Street.
According to Capt. John Rogers, O’Meara and a female companion were allegedly trying to leave Kohl’s at the Shops at 5 Friday night with jewelry they had shoplifted. When they were confronted by store security, O’Meara allegedly pulled out a knife. The pair then fled.
O’Meara was found late that evening hiding in the bushes near his home. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and shoplifting by asportation.
Two accidents, two OUI arrests
Plymouth police arrested two alleged drunk drivers over the weekend.
According to Capt. John Rogers, Gary Villano, 47, of Standish Avenue was driving his vehicle on Court Street Friday when he sideswiped a parked car and then drove off. That car’s owner saw what happened and called police with the plate number.
Police found him at home and allegedly found him intoxicated.
Saturday, police arrested Eric M. Giumetti, 46, of Duxbury after he rear-ended a another car on Court Street. He allegedly showed signs of intoxication and was arrested.
Both men were charged with drunk driving and additional offenses.
Gary R. Villano, 47, of 94 Standish Ave., Plymouth, arrested on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at 5:51 p.m. on Standish Avenue on charges of leaving the scene of property damage and operating under the influence of liquor.
Antone Mendes Jr., 59, of 14 Queen Dr., Plymouth, arrested on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at 7:16 p.m. on Queen Drive on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and domestic assault and battery.
Michael J. O’Donoghue, 33, of 26 Beaver Dam Road, Carver, arrested on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at 7:50 p.m. on Main Street Extension on a warrant for shoplifting by asportation.
Ryan P. O’Meara, 26, of 57 Stafford St., Plymouth, arrested on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at 10:48 p.m. on Stafford Street on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and shoplifting by asportation.
Juvenile, arrested on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 12:36 a.m. on Milford Street on charges of witness intimidation, and domestic assault and battery.
Suzane Marie Kearney, 40, of 9 Cranberry Knoll Dr., Plympton, arrested on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 1:24 a.m. on Pilgrim Hill Road on a charge of shoplifting over $100 by asportation.
Thomas C. Hazey, 51, of 19 Main St. Plymouth, arrested on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 11:50 a.m. on Main Street on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.
Ryan H. Weaver, 21, of 64 Bartlett Road, Plymouth, arrested on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 12:03 p.m. on Samoset Street on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possession of a class A substance.
Eric Giumetti, 46, of 17 Prior Farm Road, Duxbury arrested on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 3:46 p.m. on Court Street on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating under the influence of liquor.
Joseph Whalen, 21, of 8 Merchants Row, Plymouth arrested on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at 12:15 a.m. on Merchants Row on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
