Plymouth energy expo scheduled for September 23

Representatives Tom Calter and Vinny deMacedo to speak

The Town of Plymouth is hosting an energy expo on Sunday, September 23 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Plymouth North High School.

Admission to the event is free.

Representatives Tom Calter and Vinny deMacedo will speak at the expo.  There will be several vendors, clinics and demonstrations including:

  • Tour the new energy efficient Plymouth North High School (first 250 who sign up)
  • Learn how to make your home/business more energy efficient from onsite vendors
  • Attend free bicycle clinic from a local bike shop
  • Meet members of HFH of Greater Plymouth and your Town Energy Committee
  • Learn about Habitat for Humanity's commitment to building energy efficient homes
  • Sign up for free home energy audit - save money on energy bills
  • Win great raffle prizes - including a new bicycle, a Kindle and much more!

The expo is presented by the Town of Plymouth Energy Committee, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plymouth, Inc., Plymouth Public Schools (Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, Resource Conservation) and the League of Women Voters.

Proceeds from the event benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plymouth.

Plymouth North High School is at 41 Obery Street in Plymouth.
