South Shore Dems to host immigration reform forum March 2

The South Shore Democratic Caucus will host an educational forum on immigration reform on Saturday, March 2 from 12 p.m to 2 p.m. at the Paul Pratt Library, 35 Ripley Road, Cohasset.  The forum will focus on the constitutional rights and the financial impact of immigrant entrepreneurs and consumers.

Campaign kick-off party for Doug O'Roak Feb. 6 in Plymouth

O'Roak running for selectman in Plymouth

The Committee to Elect Doug O'Roak will host a campaign kick-off party on Wednesday, February 6 at 6 p.m. at the New World Tavern at 56 Main Street in Plymouth.

O'Roak is running for selectman in the May 11, 2013 Plymouth election.

There will be free appetizers and a cash bar. The event is open to the public.

The Plymouth County Democratic League has announced that the chair's breakfast will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Fireside Grill in Middleboro.  Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Senator Scott Brown will be in Plymouth Saturday, November 3 on his People over Party bus tour.

The Senator will be joined by fellow Republicans Rep. Vinny DeMacedo and Rep. Randy Hunt.

Plymouth County Dems plan Unity Breakfast for September 9

The Plymouth County Democratic League will host a Unity Breakfast on Sunday, September 9 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Westgate Pub/Bowling Lanes.

WATD to host two host 9th District Debates tonight

Democratic debate beings at 6:15 p.m., followed by Republican debate at 8 p.m.

WATD FM (95.9) will host two 9th District debates this evening, Thursday, August 16.  First up, Sam Sutter will take on incumbent Congressman Bill Keating in the Democratic debate.  The two will go head to head live from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Following a 45 minute break, the Republican candidates, Christopher Sheldon and Adam Chaprales will take to the mic at 8 p.m.

Kingston Republican Town Committee Meeting scheduled for August 15

All registered Kingston Republicans welcome

The Kingston Republic Town Committee is holding a meeting on Wednesday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Royal Garden Restaurant in Kingston.

All registered Kingston Republicans are encouraged to attend and join the newly organized committee.

The primary goal of the organization is to help elect Republicans on the state, county and town levels.

The Royal Garden Restaurant is at 3 Tremont Street in Kingston.

Keating to march in Plymouth's 4th of July Parade

Keating, other polls to make the parade rounds on Wednesday

Congressman Bill Keating will be marching in the Plymouth 4th of July parade tomorrow and he is inviting supporters to join him.

The parade steps off at Cordage Park Circle in Plymouth at 9 a.m. and participants will gather at 8:30 a.m.
