In My Footsteps: Acushnet, Massachusetts
Formerly a part of New Bedford and then Fairhaven the town of Acushnet may be small in size but it has a rather large link to the world of sports. The name Acushnet comes from the Wampanoag word 'Cushnea' which means ‘peaceful resting place near water’ which is no coincidence since the town lies along the Acushnet River.

In My Footsteps: Kingston, Massachusetts
Kingston is a very difficult town to get a hold of. For me it took me three trips to find all of the places I was looking for. Perhaps it was just the fact that I was not looking hard enough. In My Footsteps: Mattapoisett, Mass.
Mattapoisett comes from the Wampanoag word meaning 'place of resting' and it is every bit of it. The small town, relaxed feel, to Mattapoisett helped make this a great trip. It was also here that I had a sort of moment that made me believe that these articles are what I am meant to be doing, more on that later.

In My Footsteps: Marshfield, Massachusetts
My trip to Marshfield, or as it is called in the summer, 'Marsh Vegas,' due to the massive influx of visitors, centered around two very famous people. These two people are famous for very different reasons but their names are synonymous with Marshfield: Daniel Webster, and Steve Carell. Before I get to those two famous names let me give you a little history of Marshfield.
In My Footsteps: Fall River, Mass.
Located just before the border with Rhode Island and about forty-five minutes south of Boston, Fall River has an array of tremendous sites that can be the cornerstones of a great trip. However there are a few that go beyond that and make this small city an exciting destination. Any trip to Fall River needs to feature stops at Battleship Cove, the Old Colony Railroad Museum, and of course the Lizzie Borden house.
